After School Club Volunteer
Volunteer Centre Buxton and District
Supporting children and young peoplewith disabilities(aged 5-12) to attend a term-time after school club,to play games,arts and crafts and encourage childrento join in with activities on offer.

Appropriate Adult
Derbyshire Appropriate Adult Scheme
Volunteers are required anytime, such as 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. - midnight [Monday to Friday] 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 4 p.m.- midnight [Saturday and Sunday]. Volunteers are required to be an appropriate adult and must be confident and assertive when required. Preferably a clean driving licence and own transport. All training will be provided to OCN standard.

We are looking for enthusiastic people to lead community bike rides from Hope Valley College on Saturday mornings. Bike rides will fall into 3 categories: 1) An off-road mountain bike ride for adults; 2) A road ride for adults; 3) An off-road mountain bike ride for families.

Derbyshire Autism Services Group
Volunteers are needed for our sitting and befriending service. Tasks involve sitting for a family who has a child with autism, to give them a much needed break, or befriending a young person with autism [11-19] to take them out socially. We welcome any volunteers who would be interested in helping our families.
