A Date with Nature Volunteer - Leeds Castle

RSPB

We need volunteers to help at this event with the aim of enthusing and inspiring the public by showing them brilliant birds. You help people to use telescopes, teaching them about the birds they see and answering questions about the RSPB.

To support adults with a learning disability to attend activities in the community such as attending clubs or shopping or sporting activities. Provide respite to the main carer.

Befrienders are needed to visit people who are elderly and frail or who are disabled and cannot get out. Befrienders improve the quality of life by having a game of cards, chess talking about old times or current affairs etc.
