Running of weekly meetings at Mickleover Methodist Church, including preparation and planning.
135th Broadway Baptist Scout Group
Leading a Beavers troop - Age group 6 - 8 year olds providing a balanced programme with your team for the young people. Attending church parade once a month.
Derbyshire Autism Services Group (DASG)
A volunteer befriends a young person aged 12 or above or an adult with autism, allowing them to have support from someone outside of the family. The volunteer would take the young person/adult out and about doing activities of their choice.
You will help clients with a range of opportunities to learn and develop new skills, which will breakdown barriers to social inclusion and empower them to integrate into and support the communities they move on to.
Derby East Live at Home
Volunteers are required in the Normanton, Peartree and around Abbey Street areas to visit a socially isolated elderly person for a cup of tea, a chat or even to offer assistance with shopping or transportation. May also be involved with group settings too....
