About the opportunity

Situated within Lincolnshire Co-operative's Pharmacy in the centre of Waddington village; you will join a small friendly team of library volunteers offering a modern and enhanced service to the library users of Waddington and surrounding villages. You will be keen to inspire a pleasant, fun and friendly atmosphere for visitors and volunteers alike - offering visitors a great experience and reasons to come back again! Task will include: Helping with various library focused tasks Giving library users information and advice Supporting computer users & other volunteers

About Waddington Library

To provide library services and support to the community of Waddington village and surrounding areas.

What are they looking for?

Good customers services skills when dealing with library users

Confidence and initiative when dealing with library users

Understanding discretion and diversity issues when dealing with the public

Willingness and adaptability to work as the sole face of the library, or under staff when present

Commitment to training and the values of volunteering

Basic IT skills desired but not essential

When can you do this role?

Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun

This is a Part Time opportunity.

Getting there

By car turn off the A15 at the crossroads into Bar lane, the library is situated in the same premises as Lincolnshire Cooperative Pharmacy and post office or bus number 1 can be caught.
