About Ronald McDonald House Charities
Our purpose is to provide 'home from home' accomodation for families with sick children in Kings College Hospital. Our house allows families to stay in a comforting environment during a difficult time; our staff make themselves available to support families in need. Our fully accessible bedrooms have en-suites and pull out beds, children can stay with their families while their siblings are in hospital. RMH Camberwell supports families with critically ill children being treated at Kings College Hospital in London. Families who stay at the house come from across the UK, internationally and from London itself. Since 2000 we have supported over 1500 families at our house. Children are psychologically supported by having their families close by, and the hospital is supported by our service.
