About the opportunity

A new and exciting course being run for 16-18 year olds by Redwood Skills and Green Corridor. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to develop their skills as well as gain a qualification in functional skills and horticulture. This is a 6 month course run 3 days a week suitable for young people who are currently not in education, employment (weekend work may be acceptable) or training. This course is free and no previous experience in land based projects is necessary, all we ask is that you are willing to give it a try. The course is made up of functioning skills including maths and English, work based skills, employability skills and one day a week of practical hands on land based activities. Courses start at the beginning of every month and will be run from Hounslow. A bursary to support travel may be available and benefits should not be affected. This course is all about gaining experience and skills to get into employement!
