About the opportunity
Volunteers are required to assist with day-care activities, befriend older people, and provide friendship/support. This may include: Reading newpaper/crosswords Supporting specified interests and hobbies of customers Help with correspondence or to write memoirs Buying presents for customers' family Short walks with individuals. Accompanying customers on trips to shop etc Supporting customers with communication difficulties. This vacancy is based in Headingley, Leeds, LS6 2EZ.
