How to create special values that apply to records
It is sometimes necessary for reporting reasons to tag certain records (eg volunteers) with V-Base tags called specials.

You can create specials by going into the administration section in V-Base and clicking on “Lookups”.
Under “The following list can be changed” you will find the option “Specials that Apply”. If you select this it will bring up “Lookup – Special that Apply” window.

Enter the name of special you want to create and tick “Active” box. Close this window. You now should be able to add the special to the relevant record.
To apply the specials to your records you will need to associate a special with a volunteer or opportunity.
