Content licence agreement main points

Partner and YouthNet’s obligations

Down time:

YouthNet will attempt to ensure that the syndication feed provided is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year, including weekends and bank holidays. Over the course of a year, down time should not exceed 175 hours.

YouthNet will endeavour to minimise the time during which the syndication feed is not available. However, from time to time, down time will be unavoidable due to essential maintenance. YouthNet will inform partners of any scheduled down time five working days in advance and will keep partners informed with any updates as to the expected duration of the down time.

Technical Support:

YouthNet will provide partners with a support service during the following periods: Monday to Friday 10am – 5pm excluding bank holidays in England. The support service shall consist of advice and assistance relating to any technical defect, error or problem with the provision of the syndication feed by YouthNet.

Partners should inform YouthNet by email or telephone if they are experiencing problems with the syndication feed, giving as much information as possible. Partners will need to co-operate with us to understand the nature of the problem.

YouthNet will endeavour to acknowledge, by email or by telephone, a support request received from a partner (or an appointed contractor) within three working hours, wherever possible.

YouthNet will endeavour to respond with a suggested solution to any support request within two working days wherever possible, and will keep partners informed of YouthNet's progress.

Changes to your service:

YouthNet will endeavour to inform partners (or an appointed contractor) of any scheduled change to the syndication feed platform at least 60 days in advance. This does not include changes to the content of the syndication feed, which data is continually updated.

Security:

YouthNet will use virus-checking software to ensure any of its data sent to a partner contains no viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software, hardware or telecommunications equipment, and shall promptly inform partners if this should occur.
