The opportunity

We have lots of interesting jobs to do in our shops. We need people to hang, tag and steam clothes; sort bric-a-brac and books; merchandise on the shop floor, and to serve our customers on the till. We promote a happy working environment and really want you to enjoy your time with us, as well as providing a valuable service.

The organisation

We have many retail volunteering opportunities in our charity shops. There are a variety of tasks to be carried out including tagging and hanging clothes, sorting books and bric a brac, merchandising, and serving customers on the tills. We really want you to have an interesting and fun time while you volunteer in our shops.

Alternatively there are many volunteering opportunities in our other fundraising departments. Perhaps you would like to help us with bag packing at supermarkets, run a merchandise stall at a fair or fete, talk to a group about what Bluebell Wood provides or even sell our lottery tickets.

Skills/Qualifications

No particular skills, experience or qualifications needed, although good customer service skills are always welcome and any experience in a retail environment will be beneficial.
