Lifetracks

The opportunity

YouthNet is looking for photographers for its new Lifetracks website.

Lifetracks.com seeks to inspire young people and empower them to make positive decisions in their lives. It will specifically focus on providing information regarding work, study, training and personal development for 16-25 year olds.

We need dynamic, well-composed shots of a broad range of different subjects to do with work and study to help us illustrate a diverse range of articles on everything from dealing with exam stress or going for an interview to filling out a job application. We need you to help bring our copy to life with pictures that will grab readers attention, even if the subject is not the most interesting in the world (employment law for example!) so being able to think creatively is important.

How it works

This is a virtual volunteering opportunity you can be based anywhere in the UK and dont need to travel. All you need is a camera. When you sign up for the opportunity, we'll give you the details of our flickr account and ask you to post your photos on there. When we use them, we'll credit you, and we'll also offer you support and guidance with constructive criticism about your photos. You'll receive a fortnightly newsletter which will give you inspiration for new pictures we need. You can upload as few or as many photos as you like and take photos whenever you like. You will be credited every time we use a photo on one of our articles.
