Local organisations
There are two ways to post voluntering opportunities on do-it.org.uk depending on the type of organisation.Local organisations, recruiting volunteers in a specific geographic area, should get in touch with their local Volunteer Centre (VC).
do-it.org.uk works in partnership with Volunteering England, providing member organisations with computers and software to enable them to post their opportunities online. To find your nearest VC, enter your postcode in the VC-Finder (below). This facility is currently only available to local charities in England. However, those in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland should ensure that opportunities are posted with their local Volunteer Centre as details of all VCs in the the UK are listed on do-it. If there is no VC in the area we can arrange for local organisations to post online.
Local branches
Local branches of national organisations should either contact their local Volunteer Centre following the guidelines above or ask their head office to apply for login details as a National Organisation following the guidelines below. A branch can then be given their own login facility.
