Letting A Property
Letting a property for the first time can seem very daunting, time consuming and laborious. However given the right guidance and expertise letting a property can actually be remarkably easy.

Of course the first thing you have to decide is whether or not you are going to use an agency to rent out your property. This is the most expensive way and quite honestly can easily go just as wrong as if you were doing it yourself.

I know they always boast about being an ARLA agent and therefore the best there is but quite frankly in our opinion this is rarely the case. ARLA is after all looking after it's own and there are agents who are just as good if not better than theirs.

Have a look at our choosing a letting agent section, by clicking here. this will give you a good idea of what to look out for. Of course we offer our own lettings service, but this is primarily for landlords who really can not let their own property for one reason or another. We do also go through with you the letting of a property so that you can get it right. Have a look at our checklist for landlords by clicking here.

Letting a property must always be done with due diligence and care and whilst it is very easy to cut corners, all too often you will be caught out. You must for example follow the laws regarding Gas safety (click here for more), electrical safety (click here), energy performance certificates (click here), to name but a few. Have a good look through our web site which is designed to give you all the information you need to know on letting a property. If you want us to do it for you then click here for more information.
