If you think students spend all their spare time avoiding studying, going out with their mates and having a good time then you'd be right. Well our student bloggers do anyway. While they assure us they don't slack on the study, they've got a lot to answer for when it comes to enjoying themselves while volunteering.

The sun is finally shining !!! :)

Hey everyone - sorry i know its been a long time since my last post i have been mega busy with college, work and sja.

This week saw the end of cadets for this year, and what a fun end it was. Thanks to the much better weather now it was possible to do the BBQ the cadets like so much, this year with the added competition of a team quiz, which was no ordinary quiz. It involved guessing crisp flavours, swaping puzzle peices, and building towers for newspaper. Well done to Slain's team who won - i know the chocolate prize went down well.

But don't be fooled - this does not mean the end of my volunteering for the next six weeks, there is loads and loads and loads of palnning to do ready for next year, planning what to teach never mind how, where and by who. Not forgetting the many duties taking place during the summer and of course county camp, the most looked forward to event of teh year.

Anyway, hope you all have a fun start to the summer
