Getting started

Motivated, resilient, inspired. Eight girls from three schools have undergone a rigorous selection process to become founding members of the Council of Girls. The eight girls (known as Spokes) will lead discussion groups in their schools, working together to come up with real, practical solutions to some of the major issues they and the girls around them are facing. No subjects are off-limits. The aim? To unite girls from every background who want to combat the negative image of teenagers today. The challenge? This is a pilot year, so the success or failure of the Council of Girls is in their hands and yours! This blog will trace the journey.

To find out more about the girls here's an audio introduction Council of Girls first meeting mp3
