The challenges
Helloooo all!!
well I am Biz, the spoke for Wellington College council of girls and in all honesty we have been struggling a bit with really getting CoG set up and on its feet at Wellington. As the school only took girls in a few years ago it is still a bit of a touchy subject with the boys, so trying to explain to them exactly what the CoG actually is has been really difficult and they just seem to think it is some young feminist movement! WHICH IT ISN'T!
I think that as it developes and grows it will have more support and I think we will be able to have a much more positive influence on other girls and just to project a much better image for all kinds of girls our age. I know there are so many of us out there who really do want to make a difference and I think when CoG is more established that will be a goal that we will be able to achieve and there will be so many more possibilities and openings for us to get involved in.
So just keep smiling and doing all that you can to achieve what you want to and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!x-x-x-x
